I will now start the rrat that they can't actually see their fans otherwise they would just laugh at them. Instead they have management on site just tell the chuubas what they should be seeing such as where X fan is and what they're wearing.

they laugh, been working with women at a restaurant long enough to see it firsthand, the minimal out of shape thing about the client's face, even if it's only visible really up close will be the talk of the day. I remember them making fun a guy who was basically a gigachad but they thought her legs were 10% smaller thant it should, called the motherfucker johnny bravo, kek, now imagine it with actual fat asses who go to these conventions.

While it's a natural inclination, you are seeing an exaggerated version because you're at a restaurant where (1) the people aren't working there because of their excessive professional qualifications, and (2) when nothing noteworthy is going on at a restaurant, the bar for the most interesting topic of discussion is pretty low. I say this having spent years working restaurants myself.
I suspect that the chuubas who do a con appearance might laugh, but don't have the time/opportunity to. They are too busy to dwell on any specific person in a crowd, unless that person really stands out.
