But she will never be one of the big ones, because the big ones give Looney Tunes levels of energy. Hell, most do as much and don't make it. But those who make it, do have those quirks. Even the OGs like Aichan and Kaguya Luna were quirky as fuck.
I guess that's the thing. Popular ones have to be memeable, which all things considered it's a bad thing. Mel is most definitely not memeable. That's what I meant by her being a wet blanket - no quirkiness, no La Creatividad levels of shock value. Which is more than fine. For many, preferable. But not for those looking for quick entertainment while having lunch or as background noise, which are the majority.
I guess it's a backhanded compliment, but her being, yes, as you put it, normalfaggish, is really a good thing. I mean it. But it won't make her explode like the big names I mentioned before.
