>More orange-light talkOkayu seems like she would have been bad with highway tunnels in the past? You’re absolutely right. There was a period of time where she lived in Shizuoka, and there would occasionally be family gatherings that brought her back to Aomori. When they went into those tunnels that died everything orange in their light, it made her way too stressed to sleep in during the ride. She doesn’t mind the color orange, small orange lights, or even stores or cafes that have orange light. It really only seems to bother her when she has to sleep in it. The toilet bothers her only when she’s sleepy at night, so maybe a cafe would too. Would an eyemask work? Oh, that might do it. She can’t just close her eyes though, because she’s still aware of the light on her eyelids.
>Long tripsOkayu slept in the car? Right. Her grandma used to drive a really big long-distance car that could seat up to 8 people; a Mitsubishi Delica. It had plenty of room for her to sleep in. Baa-chan drives a different car now, but those were fairly common for people who lived in the snowy regions. The drive from Shizuoka was really long too, over 12 hours. Did her grandma drive? They alternated, sometimes grandma, sometimes her uncle, Chibi-Okayu sitting in back. She feels like a lot of childhood traumas are born in completely mundane situations like these. The long-distance drives gave her heart palpitations for a time. For a shut-in cat like her to think about how they were still on the road after all those hours, it drove her crazy. She knows it was a lot on her uncle and grandma to have to drive all that, but that long journey must have been hard on Chibi-Okayu too, and just the smell of the service areas got her little heart pounding. She saw some video with Seikin at a rest stop earlier, and it didn’t make her nervous, so maybe that fear is gone now.
>ASMR superchatOkayu talked about it in the last stream, but she’s curious if pushing ASMR superchats to the next streams will make them easier to loop for people using them as sleep aides. Chat says it was nice, so she’ll try to go with that. What about membership ASMR? Hmm… She’ll probably just read them there. For whatever reason, it seems people prefer to use the public ones for sleeping purposes.
>Well-behaved OnigiryaaWhen Okayu overslept, she was worried about her listeners panicking. She did some egosearching when she woke up, and was amazed at how kind and understanding they were. She talked earlier about how it might be best to assume days where she doesn’t tweet are days off while she’s as busy as she is, and that’s exactly what they did, going as far as wishing her a nice rest. She has recordings tomorrow, so there’s a possibility there might not be a stream then either. She was very happy with everybody though, so thank you.
>Bad wife catChat says Okayu’s tweet where she angrily told the onigiryaa to hug her, despite it being her own fault that she overslept, was very cute. She says that marriage with her would be like that, so it’d probably be best to avoid it. She’d get home from a long recording and blame it on them, saying that all she wanted to do was spend a nice easy day together. She’d be real spoiled.
>When to fightOkayu is usually the kind to take everything in stride, even when somebody’s being a bit unreasonable, but even she’ll speak up when certain things are at stake. That’s not to say she picks fights or anything; part of being an adult is accepting that there are many different views. What things is she willing to stand up for? Her freedom, probably.
>Subscriber modeOkayu doesn’t really understand the whole situation, but she’s currently in subscriber mode due to the new system spammers are abusing to get channels banned. She’s sorry, but it’s going to be like this for the time being. She’s actually starting to like chat more like this though. There’s less spam and random emojis. She might just keep it like this.
>Bungee-jump shoutingAn onigiryaa says they professed their love for Okayu while doing a 100-meter bungee-jump. Afterwards they were called a pervert by some nearby ladies. Okayu’s sure she’d leak if she tried a jump like that, but she wonders just what they shouted. Something like “Okayu, let me massage your boobs!”? That certainly would be alarming to those ladies.
>EndOkayu ends up cutting superchat reading a little early. Sake and fatigue have left her wondering if she'll even have the energy to practice tomorrow's song before bed. She'll read the rest of todays superchats next time though, and gives chat some goodbye kisses.
