My rrat: Kiara got sick of the emotional abuse Mori dishes out, but for the longest time she couldn't help but still love her. Maybe not romantic love but it was clear to everyone that she was really attached to Mori and literally cried because she missed her so much. But something happened, and she stopped mentioning her much and people kinda slowly got the idea that they simply drifted a part. When Kiara said something like "nah, calli likes gura more than me" (response to a viewer) in the most mundane and matter-of-fact manner I kinda knew she no longer felt anything for Mori, since she's pretty much unable to hide her true feelings regardless of how it makes her look.
"Coincidentally" around the time that Ame lent her emotional support during her menhera meltdown over SPARKS, which was like a love arrow shot by Cupid himself for Kiara. Since then she abruptly started expressing her love for Ame on a near daily basis (still is the case). And, again "coincidentally" around the same time she completely fucking dropped the Takamori shit. When she officially announced that the pairing was dead, none of her regular viewers were surprised, in fact the original message that prompted her to state was someone addressing the complete lack of recent takamori. It's of course possible that they made a very simple business decision to kill the ship, that the AmeTori ship rising simultaneously was pure coincidence, and that Kiara's transition from being very emotionally attached to Mori, to being completely unemotional regarding her was some tier 1 acting skills LARP.
But I choose to think that these were real emotions. She fell out of love with Mori because of the distance and her coldness, and I suspect Ame really was the trigger (in a "wow so this is what it feels like when someone actually cares about you" way) or at least the straw that broke the camel's back.
It is somewhat funny how nowadays Mori tries to reconnect with her and Kiara is still completely stonewalling her. Her complete non-reaction to Mori saying she'd travel to Austria was interesting to say the least.
