The point of membership is that it’s low enough for literally anyone from any shithole country over 18 can join. And high enough that you can’t possibly have a membership for every single chuubas from every agencies. So at the VERY LEAST you filter out DDD and literal children. But more likely, you also filter out casual watchers, tourists and people who have different oshis.
So even though, members aren’t all I-folowed-you-since-the-first-day hardcore fans, but also a bunch of just-membered-for-the-first-month new fans, it is still unbelievably more intimate and safe than any public stream.
And anyone who has ever watcher a member stream from any chuuba, ever can testify of that.
Gifting memberships, will enable, all the of the previously mentioned shitheads to bypass the paywall and destroy this feeling on intimacy.
But there is actually an easy fix − beside disabling the gifting − you could just make member stream limited to 2+ months members, since less than 5% of gifted memberships are renewed, that would filter out all tourists who got lucky once.
