I'm certain that looks are at least partly a factor, but more than that she's probably just too assertive for the majority of Japanese men, especially the current generation of "herbivores". Then there's the age issue, which thins her list of potential partners even more. I know there's any number of her fans that would have her all things aside, but what are the chances of any of them actually meeting her, and then on top of that meeting her own standards?
