Everything Bagel Edition

Weekends are always the slowest time in VShojo land and making things worse is that the huge event that had always been on the horizon for weeks has come to pass so things are kind of aimless over in no-schedule-land. Possibly the most interesting thing to happen so far today was Merry doing a bit of a behind the scenes Twitter thread about Zen's new lore video. He mentioned who Gunrun voiced, talked about some of the interesting stylistic choices made the bit about one artist handling the past and the other the present is a really interesting bit of attention to detail but he failed to answer one of the more interesting questions that has come up from en's lore video. That being the mysterious girl with blue hair that appears on screen for all of a second before vanishing and being replaced with Haruka. While it is almost certainly just nothing it does seem to be a bit of an oversight to not mention at all during the Twitter thread which makes one wonder if perhaps thjere is actually something to this girl's identity. Particularly because she's standing right outside of VShojo HQ less than a minute before Mel mentions auditions.

Or maybe we're all just in need of meds! Who's to say. Aside from that yesterday was a pretty stacked day in terms of streams. Layna played a bunch of Kirby and finished the game. Haruka and Anny teamed up to do another fun collab with each other. And the thread particularly blew up during a sequel to Mouse and the monkey's IRL stream collab. The two walked around a number of interesting locations in Japan that were more rural and less tourist-y but certainly the kind of thing that gave a certain type of fan a lot to feed on. All in all a night with a surprising number of good streams, which we're now paying for today as we've only had a Zen collab in Apex, and then a solo Mel Lewdcast after Silver had to drop out for unknown reasons.

So let's just hope that everyone's doing fine, and make sure to keep things comfy and civil by ignoring and especially reporting bait, and being excellent to each other.
