Interest in Hololive inside Japan is still growing (based on Google metrics) while international interest is declining hard because HoloEN failed to retain their fans and big chunk of new vtuber fans choose someone outside Hololive who speaks English.
Some people are tempted to blame this on corona finally fucking off in the West but the thing is global interest in vtubers is also growing and was at its all time high just few months ago. Myth wasted their insane success and are now nothing but a shadow of their previous selves, Council failed due to other reasons. Most of them are simply lazy (or too busy doing irl stuff) and it reflects in their performance. People /here/ hate Mori beyond words but the truth is she's the only one in HoloEN doing something close to what HoloJP is doing: streaming AND doing related work outside streaming (recording, working on music etc.) to advance her career. She has a goal and is working towards it unlike others who are just...there.
