I think my oshi is a human being and flawed like us all. So I went to 5ch and matome sites to see what the antis have to say about her, having in my mind some things that have rubbed me the wrong way. However, they did such a shit job at anti'ing, and were such whiny bitches about it to boot, that I ended up doing a complete 180 even on my initial misgivings and now think she has done literally nothing wrong, ever. I find myself hoping now she will grow bigger and more popular, not because it makes her happy or that she'd get resources to produce better content, but so that the obnoxious scum inhabiting those sites would be forced to kneel and seethe.
It's mostly the hypocrisy combined with outright malice that got me, they're full of the worst kind of judgemental pricks with zero self-awareness that make the wastrels of this site look decent folk in comparison. For the most part, they're not even funny, just mean. Several times, hundreds of posts of outrage and snark at "blind believers" for not raising a ruckus on Twitter and Youtube comments over something she strictly speaking never said, because the summary the posters over there blindly believed was not only taken out of context and presented in a misleading one, it was also mutilated because a full transcription would immediately ring alarm bells about missing context. She's said and done things you could legitimately roast her for, y'know? But since those don't get mentioned, I guess I've just misunderstood and made a mountain out of molehill inside my head, and they're not a real issue after all. And some of the falseflagging over there is so painfully obvious you could take a random poster out of an ENchuuba thread here and they'd do a more convincing job, the very existence of matome sites means that not only are they filthy clipwatchers, they're enjoying even their threadwatching clipped.
