>>25040799>いつかいい恋愛が出来るMy cute forgetful wife, I'm glad she's confident here saying that she could find love, probably inspired by her actually finding love with her fans. Since she did find it, now she knows she always could. But she's always been bad with time, but I forgive her; after all, the day we met is "sometime" after all, and even though she didn't remember when she still referenced the time we met. She's very thoughtful.
It's a shame that her meeting with Mafumafu went like it did though. It was rude of him to coerce her into meeting with him, but I think he went too far by lying and saying to korekore that she was interested in him when korekore asked him why mikeneko wanted to know if he was somebody she should be careful around when meeting him in person. My wife really is too kind, when korekore believed mafumafus lie, he started being congratulatory and matchmakery towards her, and despite her having no interest in mafumafu, played along with the lie so as to not make mafumafu look bad in front of korekore.
Nowadays I wish she hadn't been so kind to him. Since korekore thought it was mutual, he tried to sell mafumafu to her instead of giving actual info, so when she went to that quick bite to eat with him expecting a normal, nice dude, she instead triggered a menhera attack that made him literally leave in the middle of the dinner and promise to never see her again.
I don't blame her for not understanding that his freak out wasn't her fault, even though he 100% didn't deserve it when she assumed it was her mistake and tried to reconcile with him. It's just like a guy like mafumafu to coerce her into playing Apex despite its reputation. I guess guys like Mafumafu are so dense that they can't understand when women just not into them even a little, because he just wouldn't stop pestering her with requests to play every other week or so.
I suppose there is the chance that her asking him to use -chan gave him the wrong idea. If only she realized that despite him saying that he was offering to train her in Apex, he was simply trying to use Apex to get to her. But I guess it wasn't all that bad, since even despite being in that delusional state at the time Mafumafu eventually seemed to realize that there were no romantic feelings towards him from her at any point, that korekore misinterpreted things(because of his own lie, but I understand not admitting to that publicly), and that he was the one inviting her. He probably realized how silly it was to think her asking him to use -chan when he heard closer male friends she never had interest in use -chan, and even -tan casually. The realization that his plan to woo her was a failure form the start probably hit that guy like a ton of bricks, to be honest.
But I honestly refuse to feel bad for him. It was him lying to korekore in the first place that forced mikeneko to pretend like she was interested in him to korekore despite just wanting to know if he was safe to hang around. She even had to keep up with that lie in a conversation a whole year later, too. I personally would've ignored it, but she was trying to ask for advice at the time, and when she scrolled through her conversation history with korekore on New Years and saw the last interaction of 2020 be him repeatedly asking her about how it went, her paranoia got the best of her and she did her best to play along one last time. Honestly she should've known that korekore didn't really care either way, but with how paranoid she is about offending people, well, she is who she is at the end of the day, overly sensitive about not giving people cause to think negatively about her, especially when they were at the forefront of her mind at the time in her looking around for help with her situation.
Man, it really is crazy how it all went down haha. At least anybody who actually looks objectively at the situation can figure out pretty easily that her intentionally avoiding saying that she was interested directly was a clear sign of just how uncomfortable she was with the idea the entire time. It doesn't really help that kore was a snake for views. Really, korekore being the only person close enough to mafu to have the answers to her questions about whether it was safe to associate with and meet up for lunch with him was what should've been THE sign to her that mafumafu wasn't worth associating with at all in the first place. But she's always been that trusting girl with a big heart. It's a good thing that her open book of a life let everybody who truly cared for the truth realize that korekores' bizarre narrative didn't hold up to reality. But it's still so silly that people to this day think that she actually intended that message as anything more than an uncomfortable deflection away from a topic she wanted to close as quickly as possible. Some people just cannot seem to get tone over text though, I guess.
