What are the solutions? Mass immigration to offset the decline? That would destroy Japan's monoculture. Force marriages by law? Not while still being a free country. Incentivize families through funding? Can't do it on a diminishing tax base. Higher taxation? With the workforce already at it's limit in terms of worked hours taxation increases would create an economic depression as spending halted.
