A thread for aspiring vtubers! Whether your goal is to make the journey as an independent streamer or to gain experience and build a portfolio for agency auditions. Let's help each other grow and make it. Indies are welcome to selfpost, but shill responsibly. Share your knowledge, insights, feedback, discuss what has worked and what hasn't worked for you. I'm trying to keep up with a search for a live2d artist, but everyone I've looked at or contacted are way too expensive... one artist who's style I really like but didn't seem to have too many clients was asking over $1000 for the art alone, how is anyone supposed to afford this?

Petiteneet never sold personal information of bungotaiga. What happened was I put up a $25k USD bounty on any tips that lead to an arrest and paedophilia conviction for bungotaiga. Petiteneet had information that the police were interested in. He gave it to me free, but then asked for the bounty afterward. I told him that the bounty only distributes after the conviction is made and it'll be shared among everyone who submitted tips, weighted based on the importance in the case. Ok piece of advice, the quality of your model does matter but only if you are able to be entertaining. What do I mean by this? Well your model art is part of your brand and is the main selling point of your streams, is the first thing people are gonna see when they come across your stream, if you have a shitty design or shitty rigging you are gonna be stuck at 20 viewers forever. Save up or learn how to make your model better and prettier looking. Something that really common to see is a 50 viewer getting to 100 each stream cause they re-debut with a very pretty model. It's really hard getting big having a very ugly model, not impossible but it's gonna make it hard hard
