>>2543969I think I understand your frustration, indie internet entertainment can be tough,
literally, there are people streaming right now with sub 2 viewers that have been making content for over a decade that deserve as much as (you) claim to do,
while comparatively undeserving people obtain fame and recognition within months,
with only a lucky few actually making it with investment and recognition.
What you and I described is just the reality of the inherent situation,
venting will shake off the feeling for a while but it won't change anything,
I will not ask you to accept it or change your mind, but I expect you to understand it.
>It gets harder and harder each day to collab with decent tuberswant to see a change? too bad, people can't just change,
more so if you think 'decent' tubers are people who act and think like (you).
you will inevitably collab with people you don't like, what's important is to make the most of it for your viewers,
if you wish to avoid distasteful encounters then only collab with people you know. end of story.
>many of the tubers i idolize will never collab with hopeful indies, let alone meunderstand collabs are selfish in nature, they know it, you know it.
as a small creator, unless you are playing with friends or equals, the ones that agree to collab see you as less or took a pity of you,
or have no respect for themselves fully knowing they are being used by you.
>and to be respectedyou might be mixing up the definitions,
one definition is "accept somebody for who they are, even when they're different from you or you don't agree with them"
another definition is "action shown towards someone or something considered important or held in high esteem or regard"
(you) probably think respect is being seen as important or being admired by others,
but people don't just do that from the get go,
if you expect people who do NOT know you to admire (you) it will NEVER happen,
if instead all you wish is to be accepted by others and be treated as a person with feelings then understandably so you should be mad.
>I don’t wanna collab with Vtubers who say they were “inspired” by other tubers or some shitand yet you idolize others, there is not much difference except for wishing to be a successful vtuber, if anything you two have something in common, a goal.
not only that, but you should respect (acceptance) their ideas, they have feelings too.
>they put themselves below others and have no respect for themselvesI agree, but you have no evidence that's the case, sure they got inspired but that's about it, that does not mean they think of them as superior, if they do do tell them that's not healthy and that they will change their mind when they meet their heroes.
So what can you do? here's this:
1.
you are not entitled to respect (admiration), that respect is earned by your good actions and investment put towards work.
you are entitled to respect (acceptance), but that respect is ignored by pos, avoid those people, and similarly if you feel like you are disrespecting (not accepting) people maybe you should change.
you are not entitled to your dreams, your dreams are your sole responsibility, want to get noticed fast? buy an ad.
2.
networking in twitter, but only collabing after you get to meet them.
3.
offer something of value, interact with your viewers beyond reading comments and donations by:
letting them join your lobbies,
hosting multiplayer games,
giving them a chance to join vc,
encouraging competitiveness (reward can be having their names on a virtual chalkboard on stream, a fake trophy, idk),
sure they might not be vtubers,
but at the very least it will be fun
