I had a dream last night about kanatowa, here’s how it goes
The dream starts with Kanata and Towa playing together as a child. They were playing in a park and then when a stranger came Towa being shy she went behind Kanata and tucked her shirt (it was cute as fuck AAAAAA). The stranger was asking for directions and Kanata helped him. As the stranger goes away Kanata then pats Towa telling her it’s okay now.
Fast forward it was in highschool and Kanata got a weird letter that was in pieces when she got it
……. Lunch
……. rooftop
Kanata hesitated for a little but she decided to go to the rooftop anyway. As she went to the rooftop she thought about Coco as she climbs up the stairs. When she finally got to the rooftop she was greeted by a silhouette of a twintailed girl looking at the cityscape.
“Towa?”
“So you came”
Dreamer Note: I think it was in japanese but for some reason I can immediately understand how to translate it to english
“You were the one who wrote that letter?”
“そう、よ!
Yes”
Towa turned around and stared at Kanata’s eyes
“Hey, kanata.”
“What’s it Towa?”
“Hypothetically, if this school was a sinking ship. And you can only choose 1 person with you. Who would you choose?”
“Eh? What? Why so suddenly?”
“Answer me kanata”
Towa’s gaze looked serious, It took kanata a little bit to notice it as she thinks about the real meaning to Towa’s question.
“…” Towa gazes became more intense
“Can I save another?”
“No!”
“Let’s say that after you both survive you’ll be the only two people left in the earth.”
“Eh??”
Kanata pondered for a while as she thought about it, Coco crossed her mind. And she finally understand what she meant by it.
So that’s how it is
“…”
“Towa… I’m sorry…”
“So you already choose her after all”
“Wait, It’s not that I don’t like you but I can’t choose you“
“That’s enough Kanata. I already know” Towa says as she smile for Kanata
“Towa, I can’t choose you but I want you to know that having you as my childhood friend is something that I won’t replace with anything else. Thank you”
“Just go already, baka”
As kanata went down the stairs, Towa’s eyes started to get wet as she broke down crying. Kanata could hear it for a little but as she makes up her mind she realized she needs to go somewhere else.
