Simple. She didn't milk it. It was a natural funny thing that went viral and she just rode the wave without contributing to it. People were able to look past the meme and cunny model and see a truly entertaining vtuber, someone that's still entertaining nearly 2 years later. Salome will get caught up in her fame and fanbase and will hate her job soon. That fanbase is already horrific, like orders of magnitude worse than what Kronii had at the start.

Because it was just a meme that didn't wear out it's welcome. It's not like she's "a"'ing all the time, it was a quick gag and now it only gets brought up when someone wants to do an easy gura "impression" and even then it's done mostly to make her cringe.
