And it's not really any of that, it's just the Hololive talents are hardcore numbers even if they say they're not. Because Cover treated that branch like a redheaded stepchild, they feel like they have to do the same thing or they'll stick out.
But it's a little more normalized now. Maybe a good number of the talents go cross-eyed at the thought of having to give a "manager said so" line about the Holostars, but slowly more talents have been more open about being okay with it.
I think it has to do with Roberu getting respectable numbers and sponsorships now. Though Roberu doesn't have to bother with them anymore now since he gets better numbers and less drama doing networking reps with literally anyone who's not in Hololive.
Watame was afraid to say hello to one on Twitter before, but during the V-chips collab she actually acknowledged that they existed and there was no big yab from it as far as I know. Same for Suisei who generally ignored them until Roberu beat her to the first v-tuber + VA voice radio.
