>>25749536This is gonna take some context of me explaining Cyberpunk mechanics as well as future things Bae never got to.
So Cyberpunk works likes this. You have these stats:
Body-increases health, damage with shotguns and heavy machine guns, and unarmed combat. This also affects missions where you can brute force things to make it easier.
Intelligence-Affects hacking speed and hacking shit. This also affects missions where you can use hacking to either skip the hard parts of missions or to get good ends on some missions.
Reflexs-increases crit rate,pistol,rifle,and blades damage.
Technical-increases armor, lets you craft/enhance OP armor and weapons, boots damage of smart weapons. Affects missions where you can use mechanical skills to speed shit up.
And then Cool- meme, it boosts stealth attack damage but stealth attack already one shots, it boosts crit damage but is worthless without crit rate and the other attributes have skill trees that already boost skill damage. It does nothing for missions besides a witty one liner that doesn't get any real difference.
With these stats you then have skill trees in them for their respective boosts, and it has proficiency bars for each that boosts their respective types damage the more you use them. They cant raise beyond the attribute levels though.
Bae put it all in on cool, so she did not have enough any of the other stats to do proper damage regardless of what weapon she used. She didn't get far enough but several quests will end early or give crappy low reward endings if you don't have enough of a certain stat.
So she was rapidly in a situation where she wasn't getting strong enough to keep pace with the raising difficulty which led to her constantly nearly dying or actually dying on easy fights.
The missions is because CD Projekt red were stupid fucks that decided they wanted to punish people that didn't obsessively search every little thing or save scum. Two examples is the Meredith mission and the police guy one. She did not know that she could of gotten both a legendary weapon, a bunch of money, and saving the meredith (the lady was a bitch because her life was on the line and if you don't use the corrupted chip to help her prove her innocence she gets brutally killed) because she wasn't paying attention to the game and wasn't trying to branch out. Also didn't know she had to continously do side missions because the main mission is short and nearly all of the content is in the side missions.
The turtle guy the people in the quest drops hints about how he was having problems and about a cemetery, she wasn't paying attention so she just rushed the quest she made the guy killed himself.
The mission things is her choice but because of the devs she was only going to get bad endings because the unless she save scummed she would of needed chat to hold her hand. You could see after a certain point she was getting upset with it and the combat difficulty.
