I say this as someone that finds her growth wildly amusing.
It's probably going to start slowing down once she hits 1.5m+.
Unless she starts getting shoutouts from big JP names or hits national news media, I don't think it will continue to go upwards.
That or she somehow captivates the EN audience (Eng learning streams anyone?) which are probably destined to fail by design since no real chuuba has stuck to doing EN reps.

I highly doubt she will ever get to four mil, the fact that she's basically monolingual makes that a certainty.

However, she's basically the epitome of vtubing as her personality is literally that of an anime character. The market got too oversaturated with all kinds of vtubers, many who were no different from regular streamers apart from their avatar. Having someone go back to the basics and doing it well is really refreshing for a lot of people.

As such I do hope she does well. Records are meant to be broken and we know Gura doesn't even enjoy being the most subscribed vtuber

Btw here's a translated summary of some of the slides that got posted yesterday. Mostly not very interesting stuff, they project a year over year growth of 20% which is decent if they can actually do it. Also apparently they've noted a risk in overdependence on top talents but apparently they have systems in place to make sure livers don't try and leave, this is probably addressing all the high profile retirements.

Similar situation as for why I don't think Mori leaves Hololive as long as she still has her Universal music deal. Did some changes for the chat/CCV chart that I posted a few days ago. Changed to average CCV instead of peak CCV and I inverted the last column because "chat rate per viewer" is a lot easier to understand than "average ccv to chat rate ratio". So needless to be said, since it's inverted now a low number is 'bad' whereas a higher number is 'good' in terms of chatting activity. Here are the 10 highest viewed streams ranked by average viewers and the corresponding chatting stats. I also included the Error 1-16 watchalong since I see a lot of people say that Salome has low activity chat because she doesn't have membership so people can't spam her emotes. This is only true for merchs that Holos thought of themselves (basically personal projects in form of merchs) - i.e: Lamy's wine. Some other kinds of merchs - i.e Birthday merchs or nendos - are dealt with normally with Cover taking care of most of the funding (and, understandably, take a bigger cut from profits)

Furthermore, from what little we've been told, even IRyS doesn't know what the hell is wrong exactly and management were miscommunicating with her on top of all the previous bad signs.

Everything points to a management conflict where the bureaucracy can't tell their heads from their asses, which causes delays that lead to further delays as the causes for all the problems are dealt with behind the scenes. If I were to speculate, I'd say that she told what she wanted to her personal manager, he was supposed to communicate it to someone else to have those demands checked through and forgot, and then what Redjuice was asked to make was completely different from what was intended because he heard something different from what IRyS asked for.

This isn't even a rrat, it's just Occam's Razor. In every operation where middle management exists this shit happens, so that's probably what's happening here.

Where do you think Project HOPE is in here? It's either below or stuck between JP and EN management. There might very well be actual confusion who is even in charge of IRyS right now, especially if the manager in charge of her quit or got fired. It's probable that IRyS management is JP speakers only and they have to go through EN management and JP Branch management to get anything done, which seems like enough of a shitshow for this situation to have occured
