There were some people really pissed when she went from Iracebeth to Narumi after having just gotten the Queen of Hearts model with the help of chat. (The Ames design was copyright claimed and Beth was a quick replacement.) It's really narrowed down to who did it because they were showing screenshots from the guy who helped pay for her Beth model and there were people harassing her because her fan discord found Narumi like a month before 4chan and some really emotionally invested people wouldn't stop messaging her.
Narumi/Gwyn and Mel Nekomata/Ames/Iracebeth are supposed to be two different Vtuber continuities just like how in a couple months when you hear a familiar voice coming out of a NijiEN member, you will get banned if you bring them up.
