Now, I'm not saying they hate each other, sure they're happy they had the opportunity to see each other again, just that there's nothing to be really over the moon enthused and giddy about. If there ever was some "magic" in the beginning, it's long gone, and they're both grown apart in their settled personalities and know what to expect from each other (especially Kiara now knows what little to expect from Mori and not be too much emotionally invested in her anymore).
So you get this (comparatively) subdued "reunion", without too much excitement happening, just cordial acquaintances having a convenient meeting, nothing more nothing less. Also remember that Mori wasn't even "supposed" to be there - she's in Europe primarily for RM stuff, and wasn't explicitly visiting Kiara only for Kiara's sake (so without RM stuff she likely wouldn't even be there at all), and Kiara was basically just a convenient afterthought/add-on ("oh hey, while I'm there anyway, might as well use the opportunity to visit you on the side..."), and Kiara knows this and treats it as such.
