Hololive is a huge deal so I could easily see the Paladins people banking on that and offering a crazy sum of money for any of them to do a crossover. It's a sort of win win, Paladins get potential millions of new people to try the game, and Ame likely got a huge stack of cash, immortalized in a video game, and there's tons of advertising going in her direction too because the huge playerbase of Paladins would want to check out the person they get a free voice pack of.
It could just be a case where she didn't have a specific other thing she wanted and the offer came at the right time to take it.
