> A Lot of anons talking shit about Stars and calling them boring...
For you guys, they must really be boring. But for those who actually watch them, they are fun and great streamers. The point, and one that another anon brought up earlier, is that for a Hololive talent... There is no advantage in collaborating with them
> 1. The audiences are not the same, except for Roberu, no Holostars talent has overlap with the Hololive girls
And what does this imply? That people who watch Stars, don't care about Hololive. And the same can be said on the other side
> 2. The Sharp Difference in CCVs
Has Towa ever collaborated with a streamer who was smaller than her? No. Almost all the collabs with Males that she has had, have been from people with a very high audience who are usually from the esports sphere, mainly from CR
Only talents that don't care about CCV, because they already know what their audiences are like, don't see a problem in collaborating with Stars. Which is the case of Fubuki, Matsuri, Coco, Roboco, Azki, Sora (No direct collab, but she talks about them like a normal person), most of the ID Branch and Mori and Bae from HoloEN (Mumei I don't know if I can consider, because it was only a collab so far)
> 3. The boys themselves don't like and don't want to depend on Hololive's name to try to be successful
3 years, they have been around for 3 years. They are the ones who avoid collabs with them the most, some because they are idolfags and others simply... Because they don't want to grow up knowing that it's only because of their connection with Hololive. I know, you know, everybody knows that Holostars is part of Hololive Production, but the point is: They have grown to the point of having their 3D, concert and a new unit under the Holostars umbrella by their own efforts. Sure, they are far from being a Nijimales-level success, but they are also not a failure as most people like to put it.
4. The boys' audience are... Normal people
If you've ever tried to get to know the boys' community (and I don't mean just throwing "Holostars" into the search bar on twitter. You are foolish to think that you will just find the Starlights (as they call themselves) that way, since they do everything to avoid egos from their members), you know that most of them are adults with normal jobs and college students. Most of their fans are over 20, they are people who don't drop everything to watch streams since they know they can just check the archives later
When something big happens, like the fan meeting events or the concert that took place last year, they organize to show up. They take time off from work, or find a way to get a break from their college activities to attend, since they are unique events that they can only really enjoy on the day it takes place. At last month's fan meeting event, you can see this even better... Even the fact that several of their fans are in relationships, some where they both watch the boys. Fuck, there was literally a husband and wife, both fans of Miyabi, who attended the event just to talk to him, because it was a unique event that was already announced a month before and they could organize for it
With that in mind, and linking to the gachikois who are the girls' safe little piggies, why would they want normal fans who don't make their lives around them? It's not profitable for them. I know that most starsfags don't leave /Stars/ and that all the discussion outside of that involving them is just from people who don't even watch them... But it's annoying to see people just dropping sentences like that so carelessly. Even more the OP of this thread who doesn't even seem to know the importance of the third topic that I mentioned, where the boys themselves don't want to be doing collabs with the girls from Hololive
