>>26126440Even the opening notes of that piece gives me some anticipatory feels. The whole composition is a masterpiece. The way that Locke's theme rises out from underneath the Opera's song. The way it reprises the darker songs and battle music in the middle, before an almost-too-slow passage that, just when you're wondering where it's going, builds into Setzer's theme.
The part that moves me the most is early on, where the Figaro theme is played up a register, and in a way that sounds... vulnerable for a few moments? If "vulnerable" can be used as a musical term.
