>>26270748I thought this was strictly a shitposting thread but if you're genuinely curious I'll answer seriously.
People will shitpost about it here for a few days, a few folk on Twitter will genuinely ship it even though they won't understand anything that happens on the stream, and then it'll go away when there's new shitpost material. Every hololive/holostars collab has gone this way, if anyone gave a shit at all.
On a larger scale, male/female collabs aren't generally a significant problem. They tend to get weaker numbers and don't generate much revenue but they don't have any significant impact on the long term life of a channel. Things like Nijien and the recent VShojo events are the exception, not the rule. We're not just talking Holostars, NijiJP and the larger JP indie scene have been fine for a long time.
Baelz understands the etiquette fine, and Roberu has mastered it so we shouldn't expect to follow new EN company examples. There isn't any feasible issue that'll crop up here except for a few threads fishing for (You)s. I can't speak for Baelz fans but the Holostars fanbase has been on this rodeo before.
