the chinks clips helped Hololive go viral to English speakers and more and more EOP black ships arrived. Holos started pandering to them instead, ignoring the Chinese fans. next thing you know it, the reddit dragon (who is an American) decides to openly attack the Chinese people by crossing the red line issue. understandably the Chinese fans who have done so much are offended but instead of apologizing for hurting them she doubles down and tells them to fuck off, kicking the hornets nest of national resistance. EOPs (whose first interaction with Hololive was probably from a Hololive Moments clip) get mad and start a war, attacking Chinese Hololive fans and HoloCN members which caused deep resentment between both groups.
