Okayu SaGa Frontier stuff
>SaGa seriesOkayu's played Romancing SaGa 3, and Minstrel song before, and she beat both of those games several times. So even if she's never played Frontier before, she's not exactly a newcomer to the series
>AsellusOkayu's still curious about why Square asked her to play this route specifically. She's also heard some of her fans say that this route can be rather difficult, though she's not sure why. She has read the character bio several times while she scoured the instruction manual in preparation for the stream though.
>KuwagataOkayu refuses to give the game her sign or her blood type, instead insisting, once again, that she's a stag beetle. She really likes her lame jokes, and being difficult.
>Kanji(and katakana) is hardOkayu misreads upwards of 10 words during her long stream. Most of them are kanji words(like kanagishi), but some are even in simple katakana. A good example is her misreading the word of the techinique "Fascination", as "Fashinail". Looks like she wasn't lying yesterday about her reading comprehension.
>MemokayuThe game can be rather confusing with how open it is, so Okayu starts to write down notes as the game goes on. She does this with a Rengoku ball-point pen. Classic RPG style.
>Understanding Korosan3 hours in, Okayu's hooked. She doesn't want to stop playing, and says she absolutely understands why Korosan beat the game all in one go. She says that in addition to slow-life games, like Stardew Valley and Rune Factory, there's one other type of games that she can play endlessly, and that's SaGa games. When she played them in highschool, she could go all day, playing before and after school, and playing all day during free days. She can absolutely see herself playing this game while lazing about in bed. She wants to beat this route on stream, but after that she'll probably beat all the other routes while being lazy in her free time. Okayu gets a couple more questions about ending the stream and when she'll go to sleep as she goes on, but says she doesn't know yet. She ends up stopping at about 7 hours.
>All girlsOkayu says she often liked making her party all girls back when she played the other games, usually playing as Ellen when she did so. She wants to try to do that again in this game, which probably means Square knew exactly what they were doing when they picked this route for her.
>Today's mealNice and simple: Tamagoyaki.
>Bar OkayuYou may have noticed the fram already, but Okayu's totsumachi is tomorrow. To explain to those who haven't seen one like this before, Hostowa had a totsumachi stream for her host club in order to rais money, and Okayu's going to do the same at Bar Towa's sister location. She wasn't sure what preparation to do to make the stream go well, but then realized it might be more interesting if the stream was hell for her due to lack of knowledge. Rather than coming to play, everybody please watch over her.
>The routeOkayu wonders about why people said this route was difficult in particular. Was it the cut in LP to get the sword? Oh, maybe the assassins that come after you? Or has she not even got there yet? Also why this character? Okayu feels Asellus is way too cool to resemble her. Either way she's really excited to play more. She really likes learning all the new techniques. She also asks good ways to get more gold for equipment; some fans suggest selling things from the ruins.
>SaGa difficultyOkayu got a very nostalgic feeling from the game's difficulty. It really gave her the sensation of playing a SaGa game again; though she feels that this game is actually a bit easier to understand than the others. The confusion in the beginning, not knowing where to go, finding new allies with different strengths and suitabilities, it's hard in the beginning, but that's also what makes it so fun.
>Long streamsOkayu didn't feel the 7 hours until she stopped playing, but says she always gets that sensation of "Did I just possibly stream for a really long time?" shortly after ending. She honestly doesn't feel too bad though, and wonders why that is. Maybe, compared to action game streams that make her scream a lot over the course of 4-5 hours, RPGs and their more relaxed nature are less taxing on her? Either way, she thanks everybody for sticking with her this long and says she loves them. She wants to continue the game real soon. She'll take a break sometime this week, but she's not sure when yet.
