Izuru's weekly (sometimes not) utawaku are a good respite from my job, since they mostly happen during the weekend as he is an university student and his schedule must be packed. He usually chooses to sing older songs, which is quite rare with chuubas that specialize in singing these days. More than once I've been able to find new, good music thanks to him. Another thing is that he knows how to play the guitar, piano, ukelele and maybe there is another instrument that I've missed, but he is very talented. His voice is also too fucking heavenly to be real, and even when he struggles with hitting high notes, he takes advantage of his natural raspiness to handle them and gives his covers an unique flair.
Lately I have been able to sleep better by listening to one of his (unarchived) twitcasts where he talks in a whispery voice thanks to the positive feedback it received from a game collab stream be participated in earlier that day. I doubt he will seriously dabble with asmr seriously anytime soon, but I would still like to be hopeful.
Dumb beetle-eater country cat boy, I hope you release your 25 original songs soon. You can listen to one of them here at 30:21.
