Management told us that the best way to deal with it is to ignore it, but even I know that it will still impact our EN brand nonetheless.
This is if anything a Schrodinger's unofficial clarification of the messages within that discord window.
I'll briefly discuss 3 things: (1) first being the antagonistic way of speaking towards our peers within the industry. I would like to clarify that although we are competitive in spirit this was in no way malicious, and was just our way of bantering and making jokes. (2) secondly with regards to our critical way of addressing their technical capacities, although it may look bad in retrospect, this merely speaks to how much we expect of them not only because we strive to for our excellence but also for theirs. We aspire the best for our peers within the industry and hope the best comes their way. (3) third and lastly if you look closely within the last message on the window, you see one of our coworkers who we treat as our friend open up to us, this tells you 2 things (a) this was a safe space for us friends and coworkers where we feel safe and open up to each other, (b) this was a place where we also equally joke around with no fear of being cancelled or judged.
It's no secret that us entertainers come here and talk to our fans anonymously so that we're treated similarly and given genuine and honest conversations, through authentic responses; and it irks me that me and my friends are woven in the eyes of those who we want to entertain in such despicable light.
This has been a long time coming. I simply don't care if you think I'm roleplaying as another person, but at the very least please give me and my friends the benefit of the doubt instead of jumping into conclusions. (I'll see you in my streams, and I hope you have a wonderful day)
