Tell her the most-liked vtubers in holo like Korone etc carefully are in-character all the time and that they put effort into making it a distinct persona and so on, and I guarantee she'd just say that's cringe, if she hasn't already somewhere/time. Which is like a guy driving a lambo saying the guy with the ferrari is cringe for actually caring about driving the thing, instead of just parking it on the curb hoping to attract chicks.
She's only complaining because some people, probably just a minority of her audience have even the faintest idea of what a vtuber actually is and where this idea came from and why it blew up noticing that she kind of shits all over the basic concepts of it all the time and realize no she isn't that good at this. I imagine most of her audience, especially nowadays, to be random fat mexican kids and middle-aged creeps lurking twitch who have no idea what anime is other than the "hentais" section on porn sites who literally do not have the care or capacity to realize how garbage she actually-is to watch and that vtubers are supposed to be more than a pair of tits and a nice voice.
