>>26869083Dunno if anyone will ever read it but here goes my schizo goomba post. I used to watch Gura religiously and I'd even watch those ~5h minecraft archives if I couldn't catch them live. However, ~6 months after her debut she started changing, at least from my perspective. She seemed to be more relaxed, which is not a bad thing by itself, but that brought upon more vulgarities from her which I strongly associate with twitch thots so it kinda put me off and made me watch less of her streams/archives.
Then I started noticing other things like how she often just abandons games without finishing them or how she leaves unfinished shit in MC or never bothers to plan anything in advance so it just ends up being "just chatting" stream with MC in the background. This somehow made me think that she doesn't give a shit about games (with few exceptions, of course).
As time went by she started caring less about fans so she'd often skip SC readings even when she said she'd read them, often ignore akasupas, would disappear for days without a single tweet and so on. This shit made me feel that her attitude toward her fans was something along the line of "okay I'm gonna put minimal effort and you're gonna support me anyway."
The final nail in the coffin was when she simply gave up on progressing her career. It's been almost 2 years now and she still can barely say anything beyond "domo same desu~" which is ridiculous having in mind how popular she is with JP senpai and fans overall and would have gained a lot in terms of new fans, money and overall respect if she bothered to learn more Japanese. On top of that, she has not improved her singing at all despite having all the resources to hire world-class singing couches and she has only released 1 original song ignoring the fact that her immense audience could have rocketed her to the top of singing vtubers list if the right track was produced for her.
I wouldn't call myself an anti but at this point I lost hope in her and HoloEN so I switched to watching JPs instead with occasional EN clip here and there. What I hate about this whole situation is that she's content with half-assing everything and being lazy AND that it keeps making her insane money. She did win the lottery by having a cute voice, nice cunny design and good debut timing but I simply wish that the person behind that shark was someone who wouldn't take things for granted and would really use this rare opportunity to the fullest.
