I get paid this Friday and once I pay the rent on my old apartment (I moved, but have a one year lease, so I'm basically paying for an empty room) I'll pool all my remaining money towards some sort of PC. I don't know much about computers, but I think PC has better vtubing support than mac os, plus I'm not used to mac. If you guys could recommend me some prebuilt or something that I can work towards that would be great. In terms of character design and "lore" I've been dwelling a lot on it in terms of both being "consumable" and "genuine" (I study JAV and exploitation economics in film), because I really am like a secretly weird sadist girl, but also people find me really cute IRL, which I adore. Ummm anyways, I have friends who are artists who I'll commission some like ideas from, they've never done a vtuber model thing, but I'll get them to make my idea into a real design and then I'll have to find someone who could help "animate" the character or whatever. We'll definitely start off 2D I think, but I'm genuinely new to vtubers with /meat/, I have no prior experience with the outer tubing community as I never had an interest (as my main focus is like taboo art/film/porn and I tend to fixate on my "career" oriented studying and research).
Anyway, um, that's me and where I'm at? I also work full time so it's mostly a money situation right now, but as soon as I get some capital, this vtubing goal is where I'll be investing my time and energy resources over the summer.
