I gave each EN a genuine shot back when they debuted. The only one I bounced off of was Kiara with her Egg is Broken stream, and how she whined in it. Even then, I tried again later with her Fire Emblem streams...and just found them not worth listening to, let alone watching. I tune in still occasionally for collabs, relays, costume reveals, and nuggets like her last whinging chat stream. Those all involved the rest of myth in one way or another. Calli's "cringe-kino" hooked me from the first Mad Dad stream.
Calli has become a liability to the entire branch, and that's because she's careless....because she joined as a lark, and stayed on because it was her first breakaway success.
She was not previously entrenched in the JP idol culture in the way Kiara was...she wasn't previously a Vtuber, dreaming about the likes of Kizuna and Miku like Ame and Gura....she wasn't even really involved in the weeb animu culture in the same capacity as Ina....she was in the most indie j-rap scene and got in likely due to Kiara recognizing a fellow expat in the initial applications, and that alongside her experience as a "singer" and "entertainer" was enough to get her the spot.
She's made it through to the current day on what talent she has...with a healthy dose of one of the giants of the Vtubing corpos backing her during the lighting-in-a-bottled event of the great sniffle driving people around the world toward and crumb of the fantastic to distract from an ever spiraling reality.
I'm preaching to the choir, regardless of which side of this you fall on. I do not particularly care if she gets let go or not, at this point...and didn't during any of her previous yabs. I do, however, care about how her shenanigans are going to wind up affecting the rest of myth.....which we can witness clearly with the majority of this party yab; nobody particularly cares if Mori might have done stupid shit at her party.....PLENTY of people, legit or not, are concerned about what happened to her genmate that happened to be corralled into a raging house party.
This has all been on a predictable, regrettably, arch since debut...inspite of moments where Mori tried to embrace actual job she signed up for. She won't get better, because now that's not something she wants to let the "haters" or "antis" have....and its clear its only a matter of time before her complacency comes back to bite someone in the ass...and I don't care if its her...I just care if its one of her coworkers.
