I'm sure there are a few, especially among EN, in Hololive which would LOVE to virtue signal about the topics du jour but are prevented from shooting themselves in the foot by management.
Why would you alienate half the audience when the whole point of vtubers is to provide an escape from reality and entertainment? It's like that singer which got mad that people walked out of her concert because she started sperging about Roe Wade or whatever, except those people already paid for a ticket. Vtuber fans on the other hand can unsubscribe, stop donating, and autists like /vt/ will actively campaign against you.
