For sure I picked one of the worst to fall on, and may be wrong assuming things, but nowadays I can only see super popular vtubers as literal Stacies. Wicked females using underhanded tactics to force fans into paying, too prideful, avoid any recommendation to stop using gachikoi baits and openly use sarcasm when someone rub them wrong. Also I highly suspect part of them are really xenophobic, no matter if they engage in that gaijin hunter whatever.
After trying independents, I noticed the contrast of energy, some good others bad, not all of them try hard to act cute and their skills are varied. Nowadays, rather than following, I just use the medium as novice radio show, going to karaoke streams each weekend. Really fun and much more relaxing than digesting whatever some few I used to follow did at whim.
