Based entirely on the performance/entertainment of her past EN streams. How many subscribers would Haachama currently have if she had debuted as part of HoloEN Gen1, right next to Calli, Kirara, Ina, etc? Gauging her potential vs them.

Yeah, Enma is likely an obstacle preventing anyone like Haachama from even joining EN. The problem is that could make Gen2 a bit boring. We shall see I suppose.

She has such incredible appeal as an EN streamer. I have watched all 53 of her English streams at least 3 times. The first time I saw her was when I was watching all of Ame’s streams in order. I immediately took a detour and watched every Haachama English stream before finishing the Ame playlist. She is my absolute favorite and the only JP streamer I watch live, with translations. Since December 2020 I have watched all 53 of her English streams at least 3 times and watched every Live with translations from then on. She replaced Gura as my favorite, and completely ruined my sleeping schedule. I have been sleeping every other day because she streams early morning in my time zone. I am tier 3 VIP Haaton even though I do not like ASMR. I only know her as Chuunichama EN, but her design and voice are absolutely perfect. If they didn’t stop her English Domination she would probably be second after Gura in subs. Before her first hiatus she had the same VOD numbers as Gura, and her sub count literally doubled after she starting her English streams. They really screwed up by hindering her progress. Her English streams are precious, and I don’t know why they wouldn't want some one with that kind of appeal to succeed.

That's uplifting to hear. The speculation surrounding the matter is worn out. Chinese antis have been busy with Coco. I have somewhat of an idea what approach they could take to attack Chammers but don't want to elaborate on it. JPbros had it rough when Chammers marathoned EN streams and seemingly ingnored them. I don't have any ill will toward them and wouldn't want them to fall by the wayside. English is the language of choice for international appeal, though.

I wish they just let her mature, she was destined for greatness and somehow knew exactly how to appeal to the EN audience. Id say its still pretty high. Her english isnt the highest but I can also personally attest to her single handedly getting me into Hololive. I only saw a couple clips here and there but Haachama's EN streams were the first long form Hololive content I consumed. Like her EN Animal Crossing streams.

Haachama's R-18 content was also reliant on her spoken reactions. While presenting lewd artwork or reciting a lewd line, she would feign ignorance or contrive some just justification for why the content wasn't actually lewd. This meant she had to speak in Japanese or the jokes would be lost/watered down. I disagree that the R-18 was targeted toward older fans. After starting her EN Training Arc in August 2020, she went from 500k to 1M subscribers. Returning to Japan and starting the schizo arc is seemingly the only thing that slowed her momentum. In spite of this she has gained 20k subs without streaming. Miss you always Chama.

If she were in EN she'd probably not be trying as hard to appeal to both sides, and her EN growth specifically will always be nerfed by her inability to speak the language very well within this timeframe. I would be shocked if she even managed to surpass Kiara in a universe where she debuted along with the other ENs, especially without being an established holo.
I mean if you're asking "what if Haato were already established as she is now, but she was transferred over to EN to fill in a space", then I'd say that she'd probably have Ame tier numbers, consider the two were fairly even for a while before Haato got fucked by management (which I don't think would be as likely to happen if she was in EN).

Having only watched EN Chama she replaced Gura as my favorite. I started by watching all of Gura’s streams, then Ame’s streams because of her collabs with Gura, and thats how I was introduced to Haachama. I am essentially the stereotype of EN fans, and Haachama is the best one. I have memberships for Haachama, Gura, Ina, Ame, and Mori. Haachama is the only one I have tier 3 for. Haachama is the only one I have given Superchats to. I started watching Gura because of her past life, around November. So as the stereotypical EN audience member I can attest that Haachama has mass appeal, her English isn’t a bug it’s a feature. She is perfect.

Haachama is not a genius, she only found one gimmick that worked way better than she expected and rode on it until she was driven into a corner. Now she's stumped for new content and can't even go back to making the content she used to make because of all of the weird layers she piled up on top of her character.

I never said she was. I always admired the amount of work and creativity Haachama puts into her content, but I think she was shortsighted with the direction she was taking her channel.

But Haachama did very well. The only problem is that EN Gen1 attracts some of the audience she was trying to reach for herself, and that Enma didn’t want her around EN anymore because she may outshine a few of them, and thereby steal some of those viewers. Enma probably didn’t think Haachama was kid friendly enough either.
