I dont see a Kiara general up so I thought I'll ask like this. Are there plans for new holotalk episodes? I kinda wanted to see Holox and some of Holo ID's on it like Kobo and Kaela if possible.

There are three potential next candidates. Korone, Pekora and Ayame.
Korone apparently is constantly busy so Kiara eventually stopped trying to ask her.
As for Pekora and Ayama she is scared of asking them (for Pekora because it's Pekora and for Ayame because she knows she'll get ghosted). This isn't a rrat it's what she literally said outright.
That's it. She put HoloTalk on old because she can't bring herself to ask Pekora.

Kinda weird putting holotalk on hold just because of 2 people. Ok Korone is busy, fair enough, but just because she cant ask Peko or Ayame doesnt mean that she cant have other guests in the meantime until she musters up the courage to ask them.

She was extremely busy the last few months so in addition to >>27309924 she decided to put HoloTalk on break.
Going through the questions and preparing the clips is quite a bit of off-screen work and she prioritized streaming over it.

HoloX wouldn't be on Holotalk until next year and even then it's not guaranteed since they're fairly new. The show was more geared towards the older members of Hololive.

Kiara is being autistic and doesn't want to go to gen 4 before she finishes the other gens.
Good luck getting Korone and Pekora to show up.
Also Ayame is NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. I don't even know if she ever acknowledged anyone outside of JPs existence besides Anya (I still can't believe that happened).

I don't recall if she said outright that she hasn't asked Pekora so I would assume they are Pekora and Korone. She did say she hasn't asked Ayame though.

She definitely said she hasn't asked Pekora and Ayame yet. It stuck in my memory because everyone rratted about Ayame ghosting her and then it turns out Kiara never even asked her in the first place.

There is 0 chance Korone, Pekora, or Ayame will make an appearance. It’s bad optics to skip over them. Then you get to Gen 4 where Luna will also never appear.

Maybe Kiara can do ID gen 1 as a diversion, then go straight to Gen 4 minus Luna or Gen 5

Besides what was already said, last one was on March after that it was HoloFes arc (that's everybody else also busy) and then planning and going through vacation arc, which includes recording her birthday 3d concert.

After THAT goes up, can start thinking on a Holotalk episode. A Holotalk episode requires more setup than a regular collab and honestly, one of the most unrealistic standards of this place is expecting special event arcs + regular schedule. By now should be obvious that's just not possible.
