They're a company that, for a certain cut, focuses on shit like merch and advertisement, the business side, while their streamers are all technically indies, not forced by contracts or whatever. Streamers decide about their models, content, and whatever else.
So it's a good deal for someone like Mike or Kson - they know how to stream really well, but that's all they know because they didn't have to manage themselves in Hololive. So for them, Vshojo is a clear win. For Vshojo, it's a win as well because they finally get to make a move in Japan, and with the two biggest Japanese vtubers in their arsenal, which is a big power play.
So everyone wins, really.
