Cash is handy to have on hand, but yeah if Gura's social anxiety is as bad as she made it out to be, then yeah I can kind of understand if she's avoided handling cash because card swiping is quick and you can get the heck out of dodge. Throw in the fact that you come across half-dollars once in a blue moon nowadays, I can kiiiiind of give her a little slack.

Fauna on the other hand has really no excuse unless she's just somehow avoided having to use cash, or is one of those types where they only use bills when paying for stuff and the coins go into a jar at home to later be dumped into one of those coin counter machines you see at the grocery store.

I mean, we've already sort of reached that point in a way considering most kids today have no concept of folders on their computer or what a floppy disk is past "the save icon". Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if stuff like CDs get a similar reaction a few more years down the line since a lot of computers nowadays don't have disc drives because they assume everyone will hook up to the internet right away to download everything they need.
