>>27635983>the presenter called her, and I quote, "really freaky"?And imagine what she'd think about all the people watching her. Yet for some reason VShojo managed to create this brand where the viewers have deluded themselves into thinking they're the normal ones. That they're the normal people hanging out with their "girl friends" (platonically of course, because m'lady said that she doesn't view her viewers that way), while all the other guys watching Hololive or Nijisanji are creepy nerds supporting patriarchal structures keeping strong womyn from freely expressing their artistic desires.
This kind of delusion, this complete lack of perspective for what actual normal people would say if they were confronted with the depths of patheticness that are going on on the internet and what they'd have to say about the types of people watching VShojo (the same goes for other vtubers of course, but they're much less in denial about it) is something that really bothers me.
I don't take issue with people being pathetic, with people being virgins, with people being nerds, etc. - but complete delusion, when you're too much in denial or literally too dumb to realise what you are - and embrace it - that's something that has always bothered me.
