I think it was the first cooking stream Petra did when I thought "Why am I enjoying this so much"? I'd never sit and watch a cooking show, even though I do cook a lot, but add the vtuber part over it and now I suddenly enjoy it.
Maybe that's how it is for most preferences though. It's hard to explain why you like what you like, especially to someone that isn't also a fan of the thing. It's particularly hard with vtubers though, you either get it or you don't.
