Kazuki Takahashi, real name Kazumasa, the creator of the popular manga "Yu-Gi-Oh!
According to the Nago Coast Guard Station, a marine recreation operator reported "what appears to be a dead body floating" off the coast of Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, yesterday morning.
The body was found 300 meters offshore and was confirmed dead by firefighters on the spot. The deceased was Kazuki Takahashi, real name Kazumasa, 60, creator of the popular youth-oriented manga "Yu-Gi-Oh!
Mr. Takahashi was on a sightseeing tour alone, and at around 9:00 p.m. yesterday, a rental car company reported to the police that they could not reach him. According to the fire department, the abdomen and lower body were damaged by sharks and other marine life.
