I know a significant amount of her JP fans turned on her after she broke NDA with japanese keemstar. The Coco thing is just disappointing because she could have set up her own company and followed what she claimed was her dream instead of selling out like that and pretending she still is. It's not hugely surprising though. She is/was treated like a god because she was EN0 and martyred herself to get rid of the bugs, but honestly her past content was always a bit... trashy. It just worked at the time because it contrasted with the seiso idol image of her coworkers. Humor through the defiance of expectations. No seiso expectations with Vshojo though.
