I don't think even Cover would do that. It sounds much more likely that they just lectured her on all the risks and restrictions she'd have to face, like off-collab restrictions, not talking about friend C anymore, potential contract termination or whatever else they could come up with, and just hoped she'd do it on her own. I also don't doubt for one second that Kanata would make that choice. It's actually much worse than just asking her to move since it's essentially a soft blackmail or making her "hostage" like kson very unsubtly suggested, but it's technically a more legitimate strategy since they can't be accused of directly interfering in the talent's private lives and are only protecting their own interests.
