>>278082661. 90% of NijiEN audience knows about HoloEN, but 90% of HoloEN does NOT know about NijiEN. So a collab would be free exposure to the 90% who don't know, hence why Cover would block it.
2. Those a very few and far between, and magnitudes less than the number of out-of-company collabs that NijiEN has. Plus, Vshoujo is on a different platform, and their content is very much different from HoloEN, so the potential audience crossover is less than the similar NijiEN audience. Not to mention how the important Vshoujo talents have been around longer than HoloEN itself. And recall Kiara's comments about outside collabs: "Vshoujo is generally OK, indies are a case-by-case basis", without a mention of NijiEN.
3. Correct
4. HoloID and NijiJP have very very different audiences, so there is no potential of "losing" HoloID viewers to NijiJP. And HoloID is, truthfully, much better streamers than their other ID competition, plus HoloID has never been as big of a money maker for Cover has HoloEN, so they wouldn't care what HoloID does for collabs, as there is little risk in losing profit.
5. Correct
The collab blocks are most definitely on Hololive's side, as they do not want to lose the high profits generated by their EN branch by exposing EN viewers to their direct (same platform, similar streaming format) competition.
