IMO, success is a product of endearing yourself to people rather than doing the exact opposite, because every person embittered towards you is a lost opportunity. And considering small corpos could use every opportunity they can get, pissing any away might not be such a great idea.
tldr No matter what happens, I consider the brand persona non grata when it comes to watching or engaging with any of their content.
