I spent a long time not believing in "SEA hours" as being uniquely toxic. Not because I didn't think it was possible, but just because I think /vt/ is good at fooling itself with something that convenient.
The last 3 months or so have really changed my mind. SEA hours have a distinct uptick in certain kind of shitposting and catalog spam. I don't know how to summarize it into words, but it is definitely its own thing.
