This will always be a risk with someone who has rivalling commitments that may jeopardize their prioritization of Hololive. I don't know what they thought by onboarding Sana, but if it's "hey, we already took in a famous illustrator once with Ina, and it worked out ... and she even came recommended by her!" or if they thought her being an illustrator would be any significant "asset", well they fucked up. What official/commercial art did they ultimately get out of Sana in the end? The council debut illustration and the 6mo anniversary illustrations? I'm doing her a favor and not counting the shitty council mascots here - point being that this is a pretty pathetic Hololive-related output, hell you could've gotten the same and more by just commissioning an external artist on a case-by-case basis as usual, and not waste a streaming spot on them, instead give it to someone who may draw less but does ACTUALLY STREAM and WOULDN'T QUIT AFTER A YEAR IN.
So for any future talent applicant rounds, I hope they go back to basics and prioritize the most fundamental qualities first, people who have enough time to stream and who are motivated and driven enough to stream, and not just treat it as a disposable "side job"
