>>28099140depends on the final number of submissions. writing and image editing stuff usually takes longer than arranging everything unless i'm doing something with the text itself (like the tilting which caused all sorts of issues i did not anticipate). As soon as you start doing edits to the text as image instead of treating it as pure text you open a can of worms.
We got 6 stories at the moment, that roughly lines up with a 2 page TWO.
Backsides story is a little short and could either be a text snippet(upper right corner on page1 kinda thing) or something like a story2 on page two (the mumei got a balloon / overmei stories) even including the attached images. they probably still need some editing going into them as well now that i think about it. just a rough crop of 16likes. that one needs some work i'm afraid.
Origin story is another short one but might fit into one of the smaller slots. I would really like some illustration for that one. Can just be some hand drawn village, mumei on her travels, even something AI generated if you can get something useful out of it. I did need way too many tries to have it give me something useful for the Owliens story in the hooter.
Same for the Missing Persons report, also a little short. Some minor edits might be needed. It might be worth to possibly add in a hook for moomers plans to go back to construction simulator.
I think i did comment on the other stories in an earlier thread. they are usable but especially the Kastro Fortress story would benefit from being rewritten a bit. It's probably too deeply rooted /here/ to be appreciated on stream. Hoomanity's Second Home story also had a link added as litter, that one has expired now. welp.
Would be the best if the Anons who wrote the stories can do the requested edits. Otherwise we'd need to improvise a bit. I'm happy to help out as much as I can on my side but I'm not going to be able to rewrite, fix and adapt all submitted stories.
That said, I might write up some articles myself and depending on what else happens, changes on short notice et al - if she drops a cover, that would be a good time for another webm edition. stuffs.
I faintly remember two or three Anons mentioning they wanted to write something but as long as they don't submit the entries we can't do much about it.
As for other changes, i might change the header for this edition to something else. probably HooT or something along those lines. If a draw friend feels like giving that a spin, it would be more than welcome.
I prefer having more time than needed rather than having to rush it out just to be done with it. Sooo i would say maybe set aside a week before the birthday. just to give enough time to set everything up, get all assets, all the stories(and the stories that will be submitted late because of course that will happen), put everything together and put it onto the tag and all that.
As for publishing it somewhere. Plugging it into the art tag or a birthday tag via burner tweeter account might be an option. if you can think of other ways feel free to bring them up.
Not to bring down the mood, but keep in mind there is going to be a very real chance that it's still not going to be read or mentioned on stream.
