Youtube Enhancer to adjust speed with ctrl+scrollwheel for vods. 1.2x for small time saving, 1.7-2x for speedwatching, 3x to quick scan through to see if anything interesting happens.
Watch multiple streams at a time in multiple tabs. Multiple monitors and windows would be the most efficient, but I have just one 1440p one. You can also play one stream on your phone with speaker for an extra screen.
While watching (or listening) a vod or stream, you can simultaneously watch another stream or clips. Turn down the volume of the background content, so when you watch other content at higher volume, it will overpower the background stream, but you can also easily pause/mute the loud content to focus on the background stream. The point is to cut down any downtime and make sure you are constantly watching something.
Always activate LiveTL (browser extension) embed to catch potential translations. If you notice a translator, you can just mute stream to watch two other streams, and quickly read the translations later. You may have to disable browser tab caching to keep the stream running if you have ton of tabs and running out of ram
Use Sidebery (tree tabs / tab sidebar) to better handle 30+ tabs and see the titles better. I don't use the tree function, just to display the tabs better.
Lastly, you can browse /vt/ in another window while watching content. 4chan works well in a narrow window. This is especially efficient since stream is audio and /vt/ is text. If you aren't watching stream while browsing /vt/ your are wasting your time. I'm currently catching up a zatsudan while writing this.
