During the drought, Miko came across skeletons with scythes and name dropped “Mori Calliope” with her full name.
Along with this, Suisei had her live after talk and gushed about Calli, bringing up their color contrast. Miko low key bragged about this same contrast during her own live.
If we combine these points, then we can theorize that Miko felt threatened by everything going on with Suisei at the time. Suisei is and will be very busy producing music for herself, collabs, and now MGO so Suisei doesn’t have the time to hang out; Suisei is joining a tournament for a game Miko just can’t play and will spend countless hours with another group (including a girl she’s been trying to fuck for years); and the final nail on the coffin, Suisei is collating with a new pink woman, one who actually specializes in music and happens to be Suisei’s oshi.
Maybe Miko felt outclassed everywhere and decided to retreat and try not to get in Suisei’s way. Around that time, Miko admitted she wanted to collab but didn’t want to disturb Suisei. A bit later she asked Flare for a Shiraken minus Suisei collab and got rebuffed.
My guess is that Suisei contacted Miko at this time (with or without Shiraken intervention) and dispelled those demons from Miko’s mind and got her back to her usual self, which is drowning Suisei in affection and giving her full support on everything she does.
